Re: New, innovative ways of going GREEN

Switch to flourescent lamps, set your computer to go into hibernate after 30mins of inacitvity, take showers instead of baths and everyone's favorite: turn the termostat 1 degree lower

Re: New, innovative ways of going GREEN
all great suggestions. I saw a cnbc special on going green, they were in iran and saudi arabia. They were looking at a company which put heat sensors in the road which would store the heat created by the sun and tires, turn it into energy and use it to power the street lights at night. I thought it was brilliant.

You could switch of lights in the house which you don't really need. Turn off electric fans or aircons when its cold already. Switch off monitors when you are leaving your desk for some time.
