Switch to flourescent lamps, set your computer to go into hibernate after 30mins of inacitvity, take showers instead of baths and everyone's favorite: turn the termostat 1 degree lower
You could switch of lights in the house which you don't really need. Turn off electric fans or aircons when its cold already. Switch off monitors when you are leaving your desk for some time.
I've also started reconditioning my own batteries.
