Log out of everything, close all the browsers, then open 1 instance of IE, go to the dreamspark page and use the verify option, that should take you through all of the steps again but this time is should authenticate correctly. That worked for me when I ran into the same problem.  I think it has something to do with crossing permissions, not 100% sure about that but try it, see if it works.
